In Cactusoft Construction, an employee represents a worker or any other employee that we wish to pay. To fill out an employee's information, the employee file is designed to keep several pieces of information up to date. Here is the information contained in an employee file:

Personal information

Employee number

You assign the employee number according to your numbering system.

First and last name

This information will be used in the application to present the employee in general.

Telephone number (home)

The employee's phone number helps you stay in touch with them.

Telephone number (cellular)

The employee's phone number helps you stay in touch with them.

Mailing address

The place of residence where your employee lives.

Geolocation

Cactusoft Construction asks to geolocate the employee's main home on a Google map. This configuration is useful for payroll calculations. For more information, go to the page Geolocation.

User

You must select the user account that corresponds to this employee. For more information, go to the page User.

Payroll configurations

Hire date

The day your employee is hired. You can navigate with the calendar or enter the date as follows: YYYY-MM-DD

Hiring number

When required, the employee shows the hiring number (example: a hiring number from the CCQ).

Chef since

Go to page Worker.

Qualifications

Notifications

Email address

If the employee wishes to receive notifications or be contacted by email, it will be important to complete this field.

Email notifications

If you want the employee to receive an email notification when their pay is being prepared, you can activate email notifications in the employee file. The email notification will give the employee access to their payroll portal. In his portal, he will be able to consult a summary of his pay as well as the details of the calculations.
