Step: Enter hours

In the step Enter hours, you can check the pay periods previous ones, create a site report, add fixes to employee form and add the expenses that theemployee did.

Change pay period

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the right corner of the window you have a section Pay periods

  3. You can :

    1. Access the desired pay period by pressing the button Select. A calendar appears and click on the date

    2. Access the previous pay period by clicking on the left arrow

    3. Access the next pay period by clicking on the right arrow

    4. Return to the current period by clicking on the button Current

Create a next pay period:

It is possible to create a pay period in advance. Here are the steps:

  1. Make sure you are in the current week

  2. Go to the section Pay period (upper right corner)

  3. Press the right arrow

  4. You will have a new page marked Create the next pay period

  5. Click on Yes, create the pay period.


Complete pay period history

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Change logs

  3. You can view the entire pay period history


The site report

Create a site report manually

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, you see a button Add a report

  3. Tap on it and select Site report

  4. Fill in the fields and press Create

  5. Add your employees. The software can suggest employees for the worksite

  6. Fill in the information in the employee report

  7. Press To end (in the left corner) to finalize the site report

Modify information in a site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. In the side menu, press the button To modify

  5. Edit the information you need

  6. Press Save when you have finished your changes

Change the appendix of a site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. In the side menu, press the button To modify

  5. You have the section Appendix

  6. BelowAppendix, a drop-down list appears when you click. Choose the desired annex

  7. Press Save when you have finished your changes

Add waste of time

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. In the side menu, press the button To modify

  5. You have the section Waste of time

  6. Click on Add a waste of time

  7. Fill in the information regarding wasted time. You can add other time wasters

  8. Press Save to save the information

Add a comment to the site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. Above your site report, you will see Add a comment

  5. Tap it and write your comment

  6. Press Save to save your comment

View the history of the site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. Above your site report, you will see View history

  5. Tap on it and you can check the history

  6. Click on Go to item to return to your site report

Delete a site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. In the side menu, go to Site reports

  3. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

  4. In the right corner you will see the button DELETE

  5. Tap on it and confirm the deletion of the worksite report by clicking on Yes

Access the employee form

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. You have three ways to access the employee form by:

    1. The side menu

      1. In the side menu, go to Site reports

      2. Choose the site and click on thepencil icon

      3. Select your employee and click on thepencil icon

      4. The employee form is displayed

    2. The employee

      1. Click on the employee's name

      2. Choose the site report and click on thepencil icon

      3. Select your employee and click on thepencil icon

      4. The employee form is displayed

    3. The site report

      1. Choose an employee

      2. Click on theworksite report icon of the employee

      3. Select your employee and click on thepencil icon

      4. The employee form is displayed

Absent employee

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Next to the employee's name, check the box box Absent ?

  4. Confirm absence by pressing Yes

  5. The edit page for the employee will change form

  6. Fill in the time and reason for his absence

  7. Press Save to save the information

Change an employee's schedule

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Next to the section name Profession and annex, press To change

  4. BelowAppendix, a drop-down list appears when you click. Choose the desired annex

  5. Click on Save to make the change. Press Save to save the information

Not regulated (except decree):

You can assign a non-regulated worker to a CCQ site. Also, you can assign CCQ workers to an unregulated worksite.

Validate the employee's timesheet

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Hours

  4. You can correct the time by entering the data either in Simple time Or Double time

  5. You can choose from Schedule type if the hours are Regular, Compressed Or Custom made

  6. Press Save to save the information

Change the employee's activity

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Hours

  4. Next toActivity, a drop-down list appears when you click. Choose the desired activity

  5. Press Save to save the information

Change employee status

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Hours

  4. Next to Special status, a drop-down list appears when you click. Choose the desired status

  5. Press Save to save the information

Change the origin of an employee

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Travel and board

  4. You have two types of Origin :

    • Residence : The software calculates the distance from your home to the worksite

    • Previous site : The software calculates your departure from the current site to the new site

  5. Select the origin for this site report

  6. Press Save to save the information

Change the kilometer calculated by the application

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Travel and board

  4. Next to Distance (in km), enter the new distance traveled in kilometers

  5. Press Save to save the information

Change if the vehicle is supplied

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Travel and board

  4. Next to Vehicle, a drop-down list appears when you click. Choose the desired vehicle

  5. Press Save to save the information

Add expenses

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. You can add expenses to the site report using:

    1. The employee

      1. Follow the step Access the employee form

      2. Go to the section Expenses

      3. Press + Add an expense

      4. A drop-down list appears

      5. Choose the expense type and enter the amount. You can add multiple expenses and put a description to the related expenses

      6. Press Save to save the information

    2. Overall expenses for the pay period

      1. In the side menu, go to Expenses

      2. Choose your employee and fill in the information fields (date, project, type of expense and amount)

      3. Press Add

Add delays

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. Go to the section Others

  4. Next to Delay, enter the delay time

  5. Next, write down the reason for the employee’s tardiness

  6. Press Save to save the information

Remove the employee from the site report

  1. From theWelcome | Human resources | Payroll

  2. Follow the step Access the employee form

  3. In the bottom right corner, you will see the button DELETE

  4. Click on it and confirm the employee's removal by pressing Yes

In the employee report :

Next to the fields, the software presents two areas:

  • Gray area: Information and tips about the fields appear in this area.

  • White area: If the site report has been punched, the site punch card is displayed in this area.

You can add a report of Training, Not regulated, Temporary assignment Or Desk. Follow the step Create a site report manually.
