The construction sequence

Thanks to the construction sequence, you can plan several projects in advance. This function allows you to schedule a longer-term project by giving you a view over several weeks for your work. This function also makes it easier to change the time on the job site for each worker, the movement of worksitein the event of an unforeseen event and gives a quick estimate of the time spent on a project per day of construction.

Add a sequence of a worksite

  1. From theHome | Site planning | Worksite schedule

  2. Click on the right mouse button to display the menu and select Create a sequence

  3. Choose your project and theactivity, then press the button Create

  4. You have your site in the list, take the time to enter the following information: the number of workers, start time and the time per worker

  5. Click on Add worksites

  6. You have the dark blue circle which indicates the start of the construction sequence. To determine the end of a construction sequence, place your cursor on the date desired ending and click on it

  7. To confirm the addition of worksites, click on Add number worksite(s)

  8. Click the button Apply when you are finished

You can change the start date of your sequence by double-clicking on the desired date.

It is possible to carry out a construction sequence over several months. Simply click on the right arrow (above the calendar) to go to the desired month or with the month and year selector. Then, click on the desired day.

Specify a recurrence

When you add worksites, you can determine whether you want to include holidays or specific times (example: Tuesdays and Thursdays).

All : Included weekdays and weekends.

Week : Only Monday to Friday.

Weekend : Only Saturday and Sunday.

Nothing : No selection.

Include holidays : Includes public holidays in the selection.

Show legend

To view it, go to the bottom of the calendar and click on Show legend. To close the legend, simply add your worksites.

Copy and paste a worksite to make a sequence:

You can copy the site and paste on another worksite to create a new sequence.

Sequence indicator :

Above the site status, you can see a line that connects the sites of the same project when they are on the same row of the schedule.

Modify a sequence of a worksite

  1. From theHome | Site planning | Worksite schedule

  2. Click on the right mouse button to display the menu and go to the project number

  3. Then choose Edit sequence

  4. Edit the desired fields and press Apply to save

Change activity for the construction sequence

It is possible to modify the activity of the construction sequence. Attention, if you make the change while you are working on a current sequence, you will lose your work.

  1. Go to the upper right corner of the window

  2. Click the field drop-down list Activity

  3. Select your Activity

Move a sequence of a worksite

  1. From theHome | Site planning | Worksite schedule

  2. Click on the right mouse button to display the menu and go to the project number

  3. Then choose Edit sequence

  4. Check the first box in the first row (selects all boxes) or check the boxes in the first column as desired

  5. Click on Move worksites

  6. You can choose the recurrence of your sequence and include the public holidays

  7. Enter the number of days in the field Number of days

  8. Select Before (to move back the number of days) or After (to push back the number)

  9. Click the button Back off number days) (Or Push back from number days))

Move several sites of the same project :

You have, for example, three sites of the same project in the same day and you must move them to another day. You can move them using the following steps:

  1. Click on the right mouse button to display the menu and go to the project number

  2. Then choose Edit sequence

  3. Check, in the first column, the boxes including worksites that have the same dates

  4. Click on Move worksites

  5. Enter the number of days in the field Number of days

  6. Select Before (to move back the number of days) or After (to push back the number)

  7. Click the button Back off number days) (Or Push back from number days))

  8. Your worksites are all moved to another day

Copy a specific site (or specific sites)

  1. From theHome | Site planning | Worksite schedule

  2. Click on the right mouse button to display the menu and go to the project number

  3. Then choose Edit sequence

  4. Check the first box in the first row (selects all boxes) or check the boxes in the first column as desired

  5. Click on Copy the selected site

  6. You have the dark blue circle which indicates the start of the construction sequence. To determine the end of a construction sequence, place your cursor on the date desired ending and click on it

  7. To confirm the addition of worksites, click on Add number worksite(s)

  8. Click the button Apply when you are finished
