File categories settings

This section is reserved for the administrator only.

In the application, you have file categories. You can configure categories to send the files in the right places. You can also put permissions or assign special behaviors in your categories.

Add a file category

  1. From theHome | General settings

  2. Click on File Categories (paper icon)

  3. In the title bar File Categories, you have the ➕ button. Click on it

  4. Fill in the fields

  5. Click on To safeguard when you are finished


Edit information in a file category

  1. From theHome | General settings | File Categories

  2. You can click on the file category or click on the three points of the file category and choose To modify

  3. Edit the desired information

  4. Click on To safeguard when you are finished


Change behaviors of a file category

  1. From theHome | General settings | File Categories

  2. You can click on the file category or click on the three points of the file category and choose To modify

  3. Go to the section Behaviors

  4. Check or uncheck the boxes for desired behaviors

  5. Click on To safeguard when you are finished


Change permissions in a file category

  1. From theHome | General settings | File Categories

  2. You can click on the file category or click on the three points of the file category and choose To modify

  3. Go to the section Permissions

  4. You can search for a role in the field Role

  5. You can check or uncheck the box Hide roles without rights to temporarily hide roles that have no permissions

  6. Check or uncheck the permissions you want to give to the role

  7. Click on To safeguard when you are finished


Delete a file category

  1. From theHome | General settings | File Categories

  2. Click on the three points of the file category and choose DELETE

  3. Click on DELETE to confirm the deletion
