Assignment of workers

While you plan your worksite schedule, you can plan workers. Next, you need to assign your workers to worksites wanted in theworkers schedule.

Assign workers

  1. You have two ways to assign your workers. You can :

    1. Go through the workers' schedule

      1. From L'Home | Site planning | Worker schedule

      2. Click on the day of the site that you will assign your worker

      3. The software will ask you “Do you want to create the schedule and lock the day for yyyy-mm-dd?” », press Confirm

    2. Go through the worksite schedule

      1. From L'Home | Site planning | Worksite schedule

      2. In the timetable, you have a header with a date. Click on the date and the menu will be displayed

      3. Click on Worker schedule

      4. A new tab will be created and the software will ask you “Do you want to create the schedule and lock the day of yyyy-mm-dd?” », press Confirm

  2. You see your gray worksite

  3. You have three methods to assign your workers:

    1. Drag names

      1. The list of your workers is located on the right side

      2. Hover your cursor over the worker's name and it changes to directional cross

      3. Hold the worker's name and swipe to the job site

      4. Release the worker's name and he will be placed in the box automatically

    2. Click on the dedicated areas

      1. At the bottom of the site, you have Missing worker And Missing chef

      2. Click on the Worker or the Missing chef, the list of your workers is displayed

      3. Choose your worker and the field will be completed

    3. Automatic assignment

      1. You see several buttons in the rod Worker schedule (below the orange band)

      2. To the right of the button Unlock worksites, you see a magic wand

      3. Click the button and your workers and team leader will be automatically chosen

  4. The color of your worksite will change from gray to green

The automatic assignment button :

All assignments made by artificial intelligence will have a magic wand icon. This will help you understand what was done automatically. You can remove automatic assignment with the button on the magic wand marked with an this one is located next to the other magic wand.

As you assign workers, you can see the number of hours assigned to each worker.

The checkmark (next to the name) means that the worker is also planned in the site planning.


Edit workers on a worksite

  1. From L'Home | Site planning | Worker schedule

  2. Select the day of your worksite that you want to modify

  3. To change a construction worker, place your cursor over the name of the worker you want to remove and it changes to directional cross

  4. Hold the worker's name and swipe out of the job site

  5. Release the worker name and the job site will update

  6. Next, add your new worker to your job site


Edit a worker's information

  1. From L'Home | Site planning | Worker schedule

  2. Select the day of your worksite that you want to modify

  3. When you assigned a worker to a job site, he three points which will be displayed

  4. Click on the three points

  5. You can change the role of your worker and the use of the vehicle when they go to the job site

  6. When you are finished, click To modify

The impacts of change:

  1. The change in the role of the worker and the use of the vehicle only impacts the site, it has no impact on other sites.

  2. In the schedule review, you can see this change in the section Changes.

  3. In the Payroll management, the change in the role of the worker and the use of the vehicle only affects the site report, it has no impact on other site reports.


View information in worker assignment

  1. From L'Home | Site planning | Worker schedule

  2. Click on the day of the site that you will assign your worker

  3. Click on ⚙ which is located in the right corner

  4. Activate the desired filters by selecting Yes to display the information in the list of assigned workers

  5. Click ⚙ again to close the window
